To become a qualified mediator of disputes involving the parent-child relationship, you should also complete a 30-hour Family Mediation Training course provided by a TMTR Approved Trainer. Click here to see the calendar of upcoming TMTR Approved 30-hour Family Mediation Training courses.
Important Note: There is NO state agency in Texas which certifies, licenses, regulates, or examines MEDIATORS. And there is NO state agency in Texas which certifies, licenses, regulates, or examines MEDIATION TRAINERS. So, it is important to obtain your training from TMTR Approved Trainers who have met TMTR standards and who affirm that their training complies with TMTR standards.
